NexThreat is seeking a Sr Systems Administrator to perform Directory Services/Domain Services Support. The perfect candidate will operate, support, and maintain Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID.

Position Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, operate, maintain, and support all aspects of the Directory to include components on premise, cloud, and hybrid environments third-party support applications, tools, and services used in conjunction with, or in coordination/alignment with the Directory, support services and/or applications used in conjunction with, or in coordination/alignment with, the Directory, entity governance and administration, access management, privileged access management, and privileged identity management applications/components and their capabilities that are used in conjunction with, or in coordination/alignment with, the Directory, operating systems member servers, domain controllers, and operating system member servers, domain naming systems (DNS), and demilitarized zones (DMZs).
Provide administration, guidance, support, and/or implementation of changes to the Directory schema.
Manage and maintain standardized Organizational Units (OU).
Manage and maintain standard and/or custom attributes, security groups, memberships, permissions and/or roles.
Administer multiple forests and forest trusts.
Administer and manage sites and subnets, including site replication.
Administer, implement, manage, maintain, and support group policy, policies, and/or scripts associated with group policy (or other policies), to secure the IT infrastructure and grant necessary resources/permissions/capabilities/settings, consistent with requirements in support of users, computer systems, devices, servers, applications, etc.). Utilize tools/services for the administration, management, and/or execution of group policy/policies/scripts.
Manage Directory database and System Volume (ex. SYSVOL).
Monitor and troubleshoot Domain Controllers to maintain health, address technical issues, prevent outages and/or restore service in a timely manner.
Audit, and address changes to accounts, Group Policy/other policies, and other changes to the Directory using enterprise auditing/monitoring/recovery applications as well as through other auditing/health check/validation/verification processes.
Maintain a listing of all service accounts, to include the applications/ servers/ processes/services which use them, and the owner/unit/entity that is the point of contact, and has responsibility, for the accounts.
Provide Tier 3 level troubleshooting of issues related to the Directory, including diagnosing, and addressing, complex replication and multi domain issues.
Configure, deploy, onboard, and support applications for remote access via Microsoft Azure Application Proxy, including the use of Kerberos constrained delegation (KCD) for Single Sign On.
Author, edit, and update PowerShell scripts in support of administration and maintenance of the Directory.
Create and maintain a Group Policy/Security Policy Map to indicate what each policy does, what resource(s) is (are) affected and understand the effect of any change to group policy. This may be requested for specific policies or holistically.
