Overall job duties
1. Be responsible for planning, organizing and providing technical leadership to small to medium sized project teams while also ensuring the quality of Customer deliverables;
2. Perform as a subject matter expert in one or more Red Hat technologies and build a broader expertise in a multiple Red Hat products and solution offerings; and
3. Provide architectural design and direction for routinely executed solutions to include metrics for system performance, sizing requirements and assumptions, and implementing system development methodologies/processes, security policies and supports transition planning.

Overall job duties
1. Be responsible for planning, organizing and providing technical leadership to small to medium sized project teams while also ensuring the quality of Customer deliverables;
2. Perform as a subject matter expert in one or more Red Hat technologies and build a broader expertise in a multiple Red Hat products and solution offerings; and
3. Provide architectural design and direction for routinely executed solutions to include metrics for system performance, sizing requirements and assumptions, and implementing system development methodologies/processes, security policies and supports transition planning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years of enterprise, full-life cycle in the professional IT/Software Development services industry.
- Should be proficient in working with RHEL Linux 8 version
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and OpenShift are highly desirable
- Understand high-level considerations for existing RHEL systems, the operational environment, and provisioning processes
- Conduct a solutions design session to understand the customer's current processes and pain points. Provide an overview of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the approach.
- Perform workshops and support operation processes about supporting tooling, ways of working, upgrade paths, maintenance, patching, automation, capacity management
- Perform workshops and support on operating system provisioning: Hardware, deployment methods, configuration management, compliance management
- Knowledge of storage configuration, and workload storage
- Knowledge of Security: regulation and compliance, security auditing, security tooling integration
- Experience with Workload assessment, migration planning, migration execution, testing, 3rd party apps, managed services, Business continuity, backups, high availability, capacity, performance KPIs, System access, workload access, 3rd party tool access levels
- Monitoring utilization, show back, workload monitoring, system monitoring, metrics and logging
- Networking experience: networking topology. Segregation. SDNs, requirements and documentation.
- Comfortable with client-facing consultancy roles, proactive, confident, and versatile communication skills
Contract Details:
- This position is only available for USA Citizens: TS/SCI FS and Poly are required
- The job is fully onsite in San Antonio Texas
- No visa sponsorship is available
- Candidates in other countries or regions won't be considered
- This is a contract position, open to C2C or 1099.
- 1-year contract with renewal possibilities
