In this role, the Controller will unite teams across locations, blending financial accuracy with innovative system development. With a keen focus on people, process, and performance, the Controller will pave the way for sustainable growth.

What You'll Do (Essential Job Functions):

• Foster strong relationships between accounting, finance, and site leadership.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the CFO and General Managers.
• Develop, lead, and manage a team that includes accountants, AP, and AR personnel.
• Assume full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assess, refine, and improve standard cost accounting.
• Understand, plan, and execute on GL standardization.
• Implement improved intercompany transaction methodology.
• Coordinate and participate in annual financial audits.
• Understand, plan, and execute ERP integration and standardization.
• Other duties assigned.

Success Looks Like:

• All financial reporting functions are completed accurately and on-time.

• Monthly close is complete in 5 days.
• Accounting processes are implemented, improved, and scalable.
• Accounting team shares aligned goals and performance expectations with finance and site teams.

What You'll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Proven track record in management with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Epicor ERP preferred.
• Public accounting and/or audit experience preferred.
• Government contracting and/or defense experience preferred.
• Experience within a private equity environment preferred.

Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Ability to pass a drug screen per Vitesse Systems' drug testing policy.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse Systems' policy.

The manufacturing facility may expose workers to loud noises, chemicals, and other occupational hazards; personal protective equipment may be provided by The Company and at request.

Job Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "Vitesse Systems is Proud to Offer." This position is considered exempt and it therefore not eligible for overtime pay.

Pay range: $160,000-$180,000 annualized, based on qualifications and experience.
