Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will work closely with stakeholders within Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation and across the various Enterprise Group teams to support strategic business planning and financial analysis. Primary responsibilities include generating term-end and mid-term reports of revenue and spend, maintaining a library of performance reports, analyzing results, developing tools to drive insights into financial results, providing aggregated and drill-down granular detail of all revenue and expense lines, handling and managing the improvement of the planning process, and engaging in improvement initiatives across Finance teams.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serve as key financial business partner and influencer that supports and challenges the business and creates value by improving the quality of decisions.
- Build and strengthen partnership with key stakeholders; develop a clear understanding of the key strategic and tactical priorities of the business and its functions.
- Effectively link changes in operational decisions and strategies to expected financial outcomes. Perform analysis using complex data sets, make recommendations, and present to management.
- Develop monthly results, forecasts, and budgets packages, provide effective analysis and insights as it relates to variances against budget, forecast, prior year, etc.
- Develop financial plans and forecasts to support the execution of Independent Agent Group's goals. Drive key process improvement initiatives for the Independent Agent Group including driver-based expense forecasting and budgeting models.
- Innovate and prioritize continuous improvement - proactively identify areas for improvements, propose solutions, and partner across the organization to execute.
- Supporting the Independent Agent Group with analysis-based justification for the launch or continuation of business and/or technology strategic initiatives.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of financial/analytical experience with recognized high potential for advancement.
- Accounting knowledge/skills preferred.
- Insurance industry experience (life or P&C) strongly preferred.

- Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.
