We are adding a Project Manager to a newly acquired business platform Compass Water Solutions, a leading global supplier of membrane-based industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, oily water treatment, & reverse osmosis systems. This role is located in Tustin, CA.

This project manager works closely with all other departments within Compass Water Solutions to complete the project on time and within budget. They take ownership and great care to ensure the health of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, Finance and Management to respond to RFQ's.
  • Communicate with clients to manage expectations, determine scope of work, prepare documentation, and satisfy their requirements.
  • Review specifications alongside Engineering and Sales to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Establish a Project documentation management system to manage documents such as Certifications, Conformance Declarations, Inspection & Test Plans, Instrument Lists, Piping & Instrument Diagrams, General Arrangements, and all other types of documents required by the project, and according to the project's Document Control Procedure.
  • Utilize Project Management tools to effectively manage a project from start to finish. Utilizing all available resources and personnel to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Conduct review meetings with Management and the Production Department to track the status and to communicate the requirements of any project in progress.
  • Provide engineering assistance to all departments, regarding interpretation of any drawings and/or the operation of each Compass product.
  • Perform Document Control activities to submit documentation on time, and according to client requirements.
  • Schedule and facilitate any testing activities, such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Noise & Vibration testing, Positive Material Identification (PMI), Load Testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Hydrostatic testing, etc.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

  • EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Engineering Degree is preferred

    Project background or equivalent work experience is preferred

    Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Visio.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
