THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Sales and Operations to lead our sales and operational activities for the Chicagoland and St. Louis markets The director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales and operations teams, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring overall efficiency and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's objectives and drive revenue growth.
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
Oversee operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, production) to streamline processes and enhance overall business performance.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and ensure the company remains competitive.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Monitor and report on sales and operational performance metrics.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets related to sales and operations.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales and operations teams
Supervise assigned team members, including providing department and/or project orientation, and day-to-day guidance.
Make recommendations regarding employment, performance appraisals, salary changes, promotions, and transfers for team members reporting to you.
Encourage and facilitate opportunities for on-going professional development for all team members.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience (7-10 years) in a senior sales or operations management role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational excellence.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
