Data Architect - Herndon VA

Mandatory Skills

- Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes and containerization deployment tools (e.g., Kubectl, Helm, Kustomize)
- Experience with AWS cloud EKS services and cloud-native services
- Experience in Terraform and CloudFormation scripts to build Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Kubernetes networking, storage, and security features
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with message queues and brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS)
- Knowledge API design principles and how to design event-driven architecture (EDA)
- Knowledge of event schema and serialization formats (e.g., JSON, Avro, Protobuf)
- Understanding of microservices architecture and how EDA fits into it
- Understanding security and access control concepts and tools (e.g., OAuth, JWT, Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated experience in programming in Java, Python and Go
- Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
- Experience troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the infrastructure as code services.
