Starting April 2025, Burlington location will be relocated to our Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)

Summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Application Services Team for a permanent full-time position. This position reports to the Business Systems Analyst Manager and works closely with the business stakeholders, external partners, and internal IT team to identify business needs, define system requirements, and implement solutions that align with the business strategic initiatives. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for managing applications & projects using waterfall and agile delivery approaches to meet the business needs, expectations and ensure delivery of valuable products/features to the business. In addition to possessing the technical training and knowledge to succeed with the identified Accountabilities, you will also be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing the development and maintenance of business applications that support and service the Lifemark Health Group.

About You

You are an individual with a blend of business analysis, project management and QA skills. You can tackle complex projects and help stakeholders to make informed decisions. You know how to get into the appropriate details to ensure clarity of requirements and reach consensus among stakeholders. You are able to formulate test plans to ensure that the right things have been developed in the right way. You can manage commitments and deadlines for large projects.

Your Key Accountabilities
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and convert these needs into clear business specifications, making sure they are in line with strategic goals.
Facilitate and document user stories or requirements artifacts related to business features and epics in coordination with relevant stakeholders, including development team members and business stakeholders.
Produce detailed process maps and document both current and desired future workflows to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements within existing systems.
Lead /participate in the assessment of current systems and possible third-party products, conducting gap analyses as necessary.
Evaluate vendor solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to develop requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for quotes (RFQs.
Develop and maintain the project plan and schedule for assigned tasks. Foster robust relationships with all project participants to promote effective communication and project cohesiveness, ensuring smooth information flow and keeping projects on track and stakeholders updated. Collaborate with security and privacy teams to complete security threat risk assessments, privacy impact assessments and address any remediations.
Develop and execute test plans and cases to validate system functionality. Oversee and facilitate the user acceptance testing process from planning and execution to addressing issues prior to deployment. Help creating training materials and communication for end users, manage pre-deployment activities, and write release notes.
Assist with rollouts and perform post-implementation evaluations.

Your Tech Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in Information Technology or related program
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems development within the Information Technology capacity
Experience with system integrations
Experience in healthcare and insurance domain (an asset)
Strong Microsoft Office skills required (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
Strong project management skills (Microsoft Project Online an asset)
Strong UML activity flow diagram skills (VISIO an asset)
Experience with work tracking systems, such as Azure DevOps (i.e. JIRA, Confluence) an asset
Bilingual in English and French language skills are considered an asset for this opportunity Your Soft
