Miami-Dade Transit, Section Chief (Transportation & Public Works)

Bachelor's degree. A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in mass transportation bus or rail maintenance to include experience in the administration or management of transportation maintenance or operational programs in transit vehicle repair, electronic equipment maintenance or preventive maintenance planning to include two years of supervisory experience is required. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified. Additional progressively responsible experience in mass transportation bus or rail maintenance to include experience in the administration or management of transportation maintenance or operational programs in transit vehicle repair, electronic equipment maintenance or preventive maintenance planning to include two years of supervisory experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
