Business and Network Development Manager
Mass Home Care ( www.masshomecare.org) is the non-profit membership association representing the Commonwealth's network of 27 Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs) and Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). The mission of MHC is to foster the development of comprehensive and coordinated service systems that enable older adults and individuals with disabilities to age with health and independence in their communities across Massachusetts.
Summary of Position:
Mass Home Care is seeking an innovative leader with business development experience to join our team and fill this newly created role. Reporting to the MHC Executive Director, the Business and Network Development Manager will be responsible for assisting in business and network development by identifying opportunities for our statewide social care network to partner with health care systems and healthcare payors. They will be responsible for securing new partner and payor relationships including identifying new business leads, relationship building, and securing contracts.

Salary and Additional Considerations:
The yearly salary for this position is $100,000. The Business and Network Development Manager will be an employee of AgeSpan, Inc, a member of the Massachusetts ASAP network, and will be eligible for AgeSpan's full benefits package. This position is fully remote but requires the ability to attend regular and impromptu in-person meetings throughout the Commonwealth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the MHC Executive Director (ED), the MHC Board, and Committees of the organization to establish strategic business goals and network initiatives.
- Cultivate new strategic relationships and support existing statewide managed care, hospital, and accountable care organization
- Conduct research and analysis to guide decision-making and assist in the development of new business opportunities and network initiatives. Develop strategic presentations on our networks' value proposition for key stakeholders including healthcare providers, hospitals, managed care organizations and other potential partners.
- Develop, negotiate and secure contracts with new partners. Maintain existing relationships with contracted providers. Assure contractual arrangements meet financial targets and legal/regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop an understanding of the network's services, supports, and business arrangements.

- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of administrative leadership experience in a related healthcare, social care, aging, or managed care field, preferred
- Experience with healthcare contracting
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills (communication, teamwork) and personal effectiveness skills (decision making, time management)
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Must be flexible and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Must be a team player who likes to "get things done."
