We are seeking an experienced Program Director to join our team in the US. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery and lifecycle management of our cyber security software solutions.

F-Secure brings award-winning cyber security and privacy solutions for consumers. The main channel to bring products to the market is through channel partners, including some of the world's leading telecom operators and financial sector companies. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our partners, internal services and R&D development teams, and other key stakeholders, such as product management, ensuring projects are successfully delivered on time, and to the highest quality standards to meet customer expectations.

This is an East Coast US-based remote working opportunity. Please note, that we cannot sponsor relocation fees for this role.

Key responsibilities:

As F-Secure's Program Director, you will oversee Tier 1 programs from initial scoping and program planning to successful service launch, followed by ongoing management of the solution's lifecycle. Your core responsibilities include:
  • Developing detailed program plans with clear resource allocation, budgets, and timelines. Program covers at least the following aspects: Contractual matters, product requirements, Technology / software development, marketing launch related matters, production support and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Leading the execution and continuously tracking program progress and financial adherence against the plan, re-plan, if needed, and provide status, risk and mitigation reports as well as set up and drive status updates to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing and reporting the program budget towards internal stakeholders, and assessing potential risks.
  • Ensure that scope is agreed and closed with the partner; proactively track scope throughout the program and manage change management process (positive and negative).
  • Understand the partner organization and business, build strong relationships with the needed stakeholders and understand their needs and expectations. Maintain a close and transparent relationship with key stakeholders to ensure joint success for delivery and solution after initial delivery.
  • Communication and expectation management towards internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously improving the process by collecting feedback from partner and other internal and external stakeholders.


Requirements for this role:
  • At least 10+ years of experience in customer-facing Program Management, focusing on software solutions and lifecycle management.
  • Great communication, leadership & networking skills, with a proven track record from succeeding in customer-facing roles and managing complex projects.
  • You have exceptional skills in time management, prioritization, and creative problem-solving.
  • You believe in continuous learning & development- you are curious by nature, always working to further develop yourself and your skill set.
  • While you have the flexibility to work mainly remotely from your preferred location within the US, it's important to be aware that this role will involve some traveling.

Additional 'nice to haves' for this role:
  • If you have obtained a relevant certificate on program or project management.
  • Prior experience from using Project Management tools like JIRA, MS Project or similar.
  • Prior experience from working with Tier 1 Telcos and Service Providers or delivering VAS services.
  • Understanding of SDKs, APIs, software development and app store submission process.
