Position Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at The Seagate Beach Club plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing all operational aspects of the Beach Club. The AGM is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Beach Club while delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving financial targets.

The AGM is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Beach Club while delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving financial targets.
- Familiarity with Forbes Standards for front of the house services.
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Beach Club, including guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Ensure all departments operate efficiently and in alignment with The Seagate Beach Club's standards and policies.
- Monitor and address any operational issues promptly to maintain high service levels.
- Manage the Beach Club's P&L statements, ensuring financial goals are met and expenses are controlled.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial reports to the General Manager.
- Oversee labor costs by scheduling and managing staff levels according to business needs and budgetary constraints.
- Create gratuities and service charge reports.
- Ensure effective recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct performance evaluations, and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Uphold and enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring that all guest interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely manner, ensuring a positive experience and repeat business.
- Implement and monitor guest feedback systems to continually improve service quality.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth and enhance the Beach Club's market position.
- Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all departments to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and briefings to keep staff informed and motivated.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational procedures in line with The Seagate Beach Club's policies.
- All other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role and 2 years in a luxury environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of labor management practices, including scheduling, staffing, and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and resolving complex issues.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work in varying environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings and extreme heat.
