Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University OR 4 Years of relevant experience
  • 7 Years Experience in Risk Management Compliance, Audit or related field in sales practices and associated incentive plans
  • 5 Years Experience in professional leading initiatives with multiple groups, executive and stakeholders
  • 5 Years Experience in using Risk Management software
  • 5 Years Experience in project management with ability to track progress, ensure alignment, and provide direction to executives and stakeholders
  • 3 Years Experience in Financial services industry OR knowledge of Line of Business products, services, and business processes Preferred


Job Description

Sales Enablement Governance Manager

The Retail Sales Enablement Risk Governance Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing the comprehensive framework that supports and coordinates the business' management and performance related to incentive plan management, compliance, risk management, sales reporting, validation of sales campaigns and sales discrepancies. This role will organize and establish governance structures that align to the company's overall objectives by serving as the single point of contact for various governance, operations, compliance, and regulatory support initiatives representing Retail Sales and will ensure Retail Sales is fully connected to the various operational and risk areas of the bank. This role will also serve as a key stakeholder within the risk and operations area of the bank, partnering with the Retail Bank Market Operations Director, the Retail Bank Risk Assessment Director, and the various Business Unit Compliance Leaders.

Position Responsibilities

Incentive Plan Management and Coordination:

  • Partner with Business Director to develop and design a comprehensive incentive program and strategies aligned to the Retail Bank goals and strategies.
  • Communicates with cross functional teams to ensure strong partnerships and smooth program execution.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with incentive plans.
  • Implement risk mitigation and controls as needed based on stakeholder feedback, behaviors, market research, data, and risk review.


Design an incentive review process to include:

  • Analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness of plans.
  • Communicate program details to participants and leadership.
  • Establish and reinforce governance framework.
  • Plans align to sales practice guidelines and behavior execution.
  • Incentive Payment validation and process.
  • Campaign Validation.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Propose enhancements to existing programs.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging risks related to incentive plan management.
  • Support and identify coaching and training opportunities related to sales practices execution and banker behavior.
  • Review partner feedback and data.
  • Continuous improvement mindset of FLOD opportunities to execute.
  • Partner with BRCO Lead to identify FLOD risk and sales practice identified issues.


Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Testing, and Metrics:

  • Collaborates with BRCO Lead and other Risk partners to institute monitoring and develops procedures on response to monitoring results.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance procedures, determining appropriate quality targets to drive business objectives while mitigating risk; builds into key business processes.


Reporting:

  • Collaborates with BRCO Leads to determine the appropriate frequency and granularity of Sales Enablement Risk reporting related to normal business, and including process management, incentive plans, and sales practices.
  • Develops and implements reporting procedures, produces, and distributes risk reports and prepares custom reporting as needed.


Creates a Formal Process for Risk Identification:

  • Monitors the internal and external environment to identify changes in existing risks or new/emerging risks.
  • Understands how to identify a material change and initiates the change management process.
  • Executes risk assessment processes; partners with BRCO Lead for guidance, expertise and through partnership in alignment with standard tools and methodologies.
  • Partners with business executive to promote a safe and sound sales culture, mitigating risk.
  • Participate in external and internal risk reviews with BRCO leader and execute and communication based on findings.
  • Updates and refines outputs based on feedback.


Mitigation, Controls, and Issue Management:

  • Collaborates with BRCO lead and other Risk partners to identify and execute the appropriate risk management and remediation strategy.
  • Mitigates risk by designing and implementing a suite of controls within business processes.
  • Acts as SME for Sales Enablement to explain and document critical business processes.
  • Develops processes to document/systematize controls.
  • Monitors performance of controls and addresses deficiencies.
  • Develops, implements, and reports on action plans for identified issues; leverages results from monitoring processes to self-identify issues and initiate remediation.
