Weekly Pay Range - $1975 To $2195
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: To Be Determined Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role License: State License as applicable Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Epic experience Job Description: - Provide care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients.- Handle cases involving respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.- Competence in medical and surgical care, advanced hemodynamics, and utilization of pressors.- Administer antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, and thrombolytics.- Experience with monitoring systems including an arterial line, CVP, EVD, and ortho traction.- Adhere to infection prevention protocols.- Skilled in the use of HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and managing oxy-dependence.- Experience in a large-scale adult PCU or community hospital ICU preferred.- Typically manage a patient load of 3 high acuity individuals.Please note that block schedules are not approved for this position.
