Basic Function of the Position: The Director Marketing Data Analytics will be responsible for developing and managing CTA's data to provide business insights which drive new business opportunities. The focus of the role will be on business intelligence and analytics based on CRM data.

- Partner with business units, and the business analytics team, to drive CTA's data management strategy including creating and enforcing data management and effectiveness polices.
- Understand business needs and work with the business analytics team to ensure accuracy of data to provide leadership recommendations based on insights.
- Interpret and present data findings to Marketing, Communications and other CTA Departments.
- Determine when to make data accessible via self-service tools like PowerBI and when security or complexity require delivery of that data.
- Understand all data in CTA systems to extract that data and load it into a central Marketing Database.
- Understand and catalogue data sets in the Marketing Database.
- Oversee and manage bounce and unsubscribe rates.
- Support paid media efforts to drive CTA member and CES attendee registration to attract the most valuable customer segments that are most likely to attend CES and/or convert to CTA membership.
- Direct strategy for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data and create plan for data augmentation and enrichment.
- Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
- Other duties as assigned by business needs.
Work Experience:
- Proven experience as data manager or business analyst with focus on CRM data.
- Proficient in SQL for database management and querying.
- Proficient with email marketing tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, and Marketo as well as other email support tools to manage bounce/unsubscribe rates.
- Proficient with reporting tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Business Intelligence, Marketing, or related field required.
- 8 - 10 years' experience in business intelligence, data management or analysis.
