UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our OBGYN team in Waterloo, IA.

• Join a team of OB/GYN Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Nurse Practitioner
• Strong work-life balance; no nights or weekends
• Outpatient only- Monday thru Friday
• No call requirements
• Two clinic locations with one located on the hospital campus.
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Dedicated in-office gyn care for patients seeking routine gynecological services for women.
• Full range primary health care for women from adolescence beyond menopause
• Focusing on women's health care, acute gynecology, and family planning
• Average 16-20 patients per day
• Advise patients on preventive health care, disease management, and peri menopausal symptoms.
• Insert/removal contraception.
• Ordering blood work and imagining
• Minor procedures including endometrial and/or punch biopsies.
• Sexually transmitted disease diagnosis, treatment, and education
• Deliver high-quality medical care to diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• One or more years of experience preferred
• Must be Board Certified
• Hold or obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa.
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice.
• Immigration assistance - Accepts J-1 waiver and H1B visa.
