The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Center for Endoscopic Research and Therapeutics (CERT) and Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, are searching for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank to join our rapidly growing interventional endoscopy team. The appointee will have a mix of outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities, including performing advanced endoscopy procedures in our state-of-the-art unit at our Hyde Park campus and potentially at our Chicagoland area network locations. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
We especially welcome applicants with an interest in esophageal (anti-reflux) and bariatric procedures.
