Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, testing, modification of PCBAs, and electrical systems. Determines design approaches, specifications and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
• Works on Completing all phases of Electrical engineering design projects
• Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
• Analyzes results and recommends solutions
• Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
• Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
• Works with latest technologies and new approaches
• Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required Education & Experience for new grad: BS degree, must have classes or coursework in engineering OR Required Education & Experience for experienced candidate: BS degree and 1+ year experience in engineering
• Classes or coursework in engineering including Digital design and Analog design and lab experience.
• Must be available to work in the Lincolnshire, IL office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a prior internship or prior work experience with Zebra Technologies.
• Quantitative and problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
• Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary: USD 65500.00 - USD 98300.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
