Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Description:
- Evaluates speech, language, and swallowing needs in children of all ages and diagnoses.
- Creates and carries out treatment plans designed to improve the child's communication and feeding skills.
- Evaluates and recommends a safe diet level for children with feeding difficulties.
- Assesses for and recommends alternative communication devices.
- Collaborates with an interprofessional team for optimal outcomes.
- Educates staff and family on therapy diagnoses, goals, and progress.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New York State SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- BLS Certified
- Previous dysphagia and AAC experience.
- No Clinical Fellows at this time
