Prefab Production Manager

Hypower, LLC. Is looking for a Prefab Production Manager for our Commercial Electrical Division Prefabrication shop.

The Prefab Production Manager shall be responsible for overseeing all functions of the prefabrication process, including the receiving of materials, manufacturing, quality control checks, and shipping to projects. This position will work closely with the Prefab Build Manager who will hand off detailed build information and required onsite due dates. It will be the responsibility of this position to then manage these builds through the entire fabrication process until shipped to the project for installation. The salary range is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, organized, and clean work environment for all prefab employees.
• Provide leadership, direction and oversite to the fabrication process and the assigned teams to achieve safe, productive, and quality builds.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies, standards, and organizational structure for the Prefabrication department.
• Coordinate material deliveries and releases to the prefabrication shop coordinated with build start dates.
• Coordinate and manage project due dates and deliveries with Project teams.
• Provide project teams with timely and accurate information regarding job specific fabrication.
• Manage division tool inventory/stock.
• Evaluate leading edge manufacturing tools. Research and recommend innovative ways to add value and create efficiency.
• Monitor and track production progress to ensure budgets are met.
• Receive feedback from jobsite and implement modification and change when needed to fabrication items.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Foreman.
• Ensure all crew members are qualified for tasks assigned.
• Meticulous & Thorough with handling details.
• Effectively manage and motivate employees and crews.
• Coach and provide new employee mentoring and different skill opportunities.
• Adapt communication style to work best with crew.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish many tasks, despite being interrupted.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills.
