Program Team Leader

Position Summary:

KSQ Therapeutics is seeking a Program Team Leader who is a highly motivated, visionary leader with extensive experience in all stages of drug development. Reporting to the CEO, this role is accountable for defining and driving portfolio and program strategies by leading cross-functional program teams to establish long-term objectives and robust integrated strategic plans. The successful candidate will drive effective communication, decision-making and collaboration with senior/executive management within the organization to establish governance around key milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads cross functional program teams to develop integrated development strategies and execute plans, working towards an aligned strategic program vision
• Creates high performing teams by instilling a culture of open debate, collaborative teamwork, and accountability
• Operates as primary point of contact to communicate strategy, updates and issues to senior/executive management
• Work in close coordination with a Program Manager to maintain accountability for program execution
• Develop program leadership infrastructure through building and establishing the function and managing subsequent Program Team Leaders. Able to provide appropriate guidance, training, and mentorship across the portfolio from IND-stage through clinical development and beyond.
• Refines and develops governance to support effective decision making across the portfolio that is right-sized for a growing organization

Requirements & Qualifications:

• B.S., M.S. or PhD with 10+ years of relevant experience in clinical-stage drug development; 3+ years of experience in oncology clinical drug development
• Proven track record of successful cross-functional program leadership in a matrixed organization, with advanced meeting facilitation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage team dynamics, and influence without authority to drive towards data-driven decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage with senior leadership
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills as well as demonstrated organizational aptitude
• In-depth knowledge of program management tools including SmartSheet
