The Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and PACU Perianesthesia will direct the day-to-day activities and operations of the department with decision-making power over all aspects of the department, including scheduling, payroll, patient care, staffing, and budgeting. Reporting to the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and PACU Perianesthesia will oversee the clinical and clerical staffing levels, coordinate patient care flow, and work assignments.
The Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and PACU Perianesthesia will be responsible for the laws, regulations and hospital guidelines pertaining to professional nursing care of patients. The Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and PACU Perianesthesia will implement principles of CQI and ability to apply these principles including PDSA to improve unit work while promoting effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries.
The Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and PACU Perianesthesia will provide staff development, participate in continuous quality improvement and program development.
