This highly awarded and well-known hospital on the shores of Lake Michigan is actively searching for a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Nurse Manager to oversee their invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, and 15+ bed cardiovascular/surgical care unit. This exciting opportunity will give a Cath Lab nurse leader the chance to join a respected hospital in a large, valued non-profit healthcare system and help manage a department that makes a difference in the lives of the people they care for.

Reporting to the Director of Cardiovascular Services, the Nurse Manager Cath Lab will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, assuming accountability for the delivery of quality services. The RN Manager will evaluate nursing care and develop relationships to support improvements in care delivery, patient, staff, and physician satisfaction. With 3 cath labs, non-invasive cardiology services including echo, TEE, cardioversion, cardiac rehab, and more, and a 15+ bed cardio/surgical care unit, the Cardiovascular Lab within this community owned hospital will set the Cardiovascular Cath Lab Nurse Manager up for success.

The Nurse Manager Cath Lab will have the opportunity to work with an amazing team of RNs, techs, and dedicated support staff to keep the Cardiovascular Lab running smoothly. Administrative responsibilities will include coordinating the operational and financial efficiency and effectiveness of the nursing services within the Cath Lab unit. In collaboration with the director and other service leaders, the Cath Lab RN Manager will help develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services in support of patient care. Additionally, the Cardiovascular Lab Manager will assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the operational and capital budget for the unit to ensure fiscal responsibility.

As the Nurse Manager Cardiovascular Lab, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team encouraging an environment supportive of nursing research, promoting evidence based and clinically effective patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager will oversee the activities of professional and support staff, providing support and mentorship. This leader will also have the opportunity to interview, hire, train, and develop members of their staff.
