Position Overview:

Atwell is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Power and Energy team, focusing on utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States. This role combines hands-on project management with client engagement, overseeing projects that support renewable energy efforts in Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The Project Manager will lead a team of talented engineers and designers, ensuring excellence in project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from planning and design through implementation and completion
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships across various projects
  • Lead and mentor a small team of technical design engineers and designers, guiding them in the use of PVSyst and other modeling software to achieve high-quality design solutions
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with client and company objectives
  • Support Atwell's mission to advance renewable energy projects by contributing to efforts across solar, wind, and BESS projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field
  • Proven experience in utility-scale Solar PV project management with eight (8) years of experience
  • Strong background in client-facing roles with demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships
  • Familiarity with PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing technical teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
