About this Position / Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the administration, maintenance, and optimization of ProWatch access control system, ensuring its seamless operation across the enterprise.
- Install, configure, and maintain Pro-Watch access control system software and hardware components.
- Create and manage user accounts, access levels, and permissions within the Pro-Watch system.
- Monitor system performance, conduct routine audits, and generate reports to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Implement security patches, updates, and upgrades to maintain system integrity and prevent vulnerabilities.
- Create and maintain integrations with other systems include CNL, PeopleSoft and other systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Provide timely technical support and guidance to end-users, security personnel, and stakeholders.
- Escalate complex issues to vendors or higher-level support teams when necessary and follow up until resolution.
- Recommend and implement improvements, upgrades, and new features to align with evolving security requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- 7 - 10 years of experience as a system administrator with a focus on Pro-Watch or similar access control systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Pro-Watch software and hardware components.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and security principles.
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience managing large enterprise systems with HA and DR.
- Certification Relevant certifications (e.g., Pro-Watch Certified System Administrator) are advantageous.
