As the Commercial Portfolio Manager, you will provide direct and ongoing support to an assigned Commercial Lender(s). Your responsibilities will include building a working relationship with the Lender, and you may assume primary responsibility for a portion of the portfolio. In this role, you will Work closely with the SVP of Commercial Credit to review, discuss, update, and/or correct all underwriting and closing protection letter preparation. In addition, you will assist with the loan origination process, including helping Lenders with applicant interviews and following up with requests for specific information for a complete and thorough loan application. You will also support the servicing of the Lender's portfolio by providing exceptional customer service to the Lender's customers.
The ideal candidate will have proven or reoccurring success with commercial loan underwriting and the ability to write various types of business structures and the most complex transactions. The individual will have solid working knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with Baker Hill Spreadsheet software. Comfortability with evolving technology and maintaining confidentiality and privacy is essential.
This position will be performed hybrid in Burlington, VT.
