Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the property revenue generation team to analyze metrics and implement effective revenue strategies.
- Develop and execute demand-based pricing strategies for both hotel and residential room products.
- Utilize transient KPI reports to identify booking trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's competitive set and its positioning within the market.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to create long-term positioning plans and short-term need-generation tactics.
- Lead weekly strategy and one-on-one meetings to influence decisions and ensure seamless execution.
- Implement cost-effective distribution strategies to enhance profitability, including exploring alternative residential distribution channels.
- Create day-by-day forecasts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the revenue generation team and key stakeholders to meet ancillary revenue objectives.
- Communicate property performance challenges effectively and develop corrective action plans.
- Influence change and demonstrate accountability in interactions with property, regional, home office, and ownership groups.
- Develop and execute electronic distribution merchandising strategies, ensuring optimal pricing, content, positioning, and marketing.
- Regularly monitor electronic distribution sites to ensure all leisure rates and room categories are accurately listed and bookable.
- Utilize RMS systems to identify and correct booking trends outside typical patterns.
- Produce and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to guide pricing decisions.
- Implement group and wholesale block management programs to ensure effective room management and timely release of blocks.
- Partner with Golf, F&B, and Spa operations to develop and implement revenue strategies based on enhanced distribution, demand-based pricing, and predictive analytics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA or higher).
- Minimum of 5+ years in revenue management, distribution, and eCommerce, preferably in a multi-property capacity.
- Proven experience leading distributed teams across multiple assets.
- A driven, innovative team player with a curious mindset and a can-do attitude, comfortable managing multiple tasks and navigating ambiguity.
- Strong understanding of luxury brand style, design, and nuances, essential for creating distinctive property brands within the Salamander Collection.
- Experience with luxury brands, destination resorts, and golf operations is a significant plus, as is experience with new hotel openings and transitions.
- Proficiency with relevant technologies, including Opera Cloud, Springer Miller Host, SynXis, IDeaS G3, Otelier/Datavision, Resort Suite, Book4Time, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Willingness to travel to hotels, resorts, and home offices as required, with some multi-day travel needed for property transitions.
