Job Summary:In direct report to the Operations Director, the Senior Operation's Manager for BAP will provide leadership in developing and executing a plan to advance the plants mission and objectives.

The position directs and coordinates all daily operations for the Core Sauce and High-Speed Lines of the operation, to produce products of high quality and reliability at optimum cost and in accordance with customer shipping schedules. This is achieved through the oversight of company operations, both day-to-day and long-term, ensuring safety, quality, operational efficiency, service and cost-effective management of resources.

Assume the management of the BAP Production Unit Production Managers, Technical Manager and Sanitation Manger and of the Support Function Managers (Production Maintenance, Manufacturing, Logistic; Plant Procurement Team and CIP (Control Improvement).

Main Responsibilities:

Operational management:
  • Drive plant Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) performance.
  • Responsible for the tracking of the plant performance indicators.
  • Implementation of corrective actions if target values or control limits are exceeded.
  • Ensure manufacturing readiness and launches at plant level.
  • Manage the production planning, support Boost performance reviews, participate in weekly OEE meetings and identify/lead projects to drive OEE improvement.
  • Work with both Maintenance and Technical teams to identify projects to improve plant performance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and primary interface for post launch.
  • Drive plant continuous improvement processes. Optimize plant layout and equipment usage.

Team management:
  • Ensure employees safety, respect for the environment and security of the plant.
  • Manage social climate and labor relations.
  • Maintain a good relationship and cooperative relation with all the departments
  • Ensure staffing, induction, training and development of plant employees.
  • Develop future BAP experts and managers.
  • Clarify the direction, give performance feedback and implement the continuous plans
  • Encourage employee involvement and drive the team spirit
  • Lead 's BAP climate control values with positive and professional behavior


Financial management:
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility with specific focus on contribution margin.
  • Build and meet the plant budget.
  • Contribution to build and run the budget forecast


Skills / Qualifications requirements:

Skills Technical Expertise:
  • Experienced in lean manufacturing and operation/ production management.
  • Proven successful experience with continuous flow, pull systems, OEE, 5S, SMED, daily production management, etc.
  • Good balance between strategic thinking and operational


Skills Methodical Competencies:
  • Implementation or progression of lean principles and tools.
  • Continuous improvement through waste reduction and problem solving.
  • Implement and drive standardized work practices with the highest level of performance expectation (ensure discipline and rigor).
  • Manage business and team performance based on budget plan and objectives.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively present information.

  • Engineering Degree - Preferred.
  • MBA or master's degree preferred
