We are seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer - ADAS to drive best-in-class product quality throughout the development process. This high-visibility role demands technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to excel in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Our Corporate Supplier Industrialization team empowers the rapid industrialization of innovative products. The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design innovation with robust manufacturing for optimal quality.

To succeed, you must possess deep technical expertise in implementing quality and reliability best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring product validation. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional performance, leadership, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive and determined and has a proven track record in quality program management, preferably within the automotive industry or consumer electronics industry.

The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer selected for this position will play a key role in developing and industrializing ADAS components at supplier sites to ensure the success of Lucid programs. The candidate must have experience with electronic components such as:

• Cameras
• Radar
• Lidar
• Ultra Sonic Sensors
• ECUs
• Battery Sensors

Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of processes such as IQC, SMT, Injection Molding, Electronics Assembly & Testing, OQC, Reliability Testing, and SPC.

You Will

• Supplier Quality Management: Develop and manage quality standards for suppliers of ADAS components. Conduct supplier audits, quality assessments, and capability evaluations to ensure adherence to our quality requirements.
• Develop, manage, and improve the APQP process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure manufacturing needs (DFM/A) for ADAS commodities are considered in the design phase and that proper quality expectations are defined.
• Drive and track suppliers' Engineering Design Change activities through product development utilizing tools such as control charts, FACA & Fishbone Diagrams.
• Work cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Purchasing, New Projects Implementation, Plant Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning, and Plant SQEs to ensure the proper development of ADAS components as well as make sure Lucid plants and final customers receive high-quality parts.
• Perform supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections for sourcing; develop process improvement plans and drive implementation; monitor and maintain performance metrics.
• Have the ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short-term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on short notice.
• Document processes and compliance with ISO9001 and AIAG/ IATF16949 industry standards.
• Analyze data from supplier and assembly plant builds to assess the capability of meeting requirements to complete the build. Interpret FAI, Cpk Yield reports & Pareto charts.

You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing or assembly plant environments within Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, R&D, or Manufacturing Engineering. Automotive industry experience preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and drawings.
• Comprehensive understanding of product quality lifecycle stages and associated quality gates.
• Strong analytical skills, technical writing proficiency, and mastery of quality tools (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, GD&T).
• Certification preferred - American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively, leverage data, and innovate solutions.
• Demonstrated adaptability, a positive attitude, and a strong problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on timely delivery.
