RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care for our Behavioral Health Unit at RWJ Somerset.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's preferred
- Current New Jersey RN Licensure
- BLS required. (American Heart Association)
- Board certification in nursing leadership and/or behavioral health preferred
- Previous nursing leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health and/or crisis setting required
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
- Staff includes RN's, PCA & Unit Secretaries.
- Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the Unit
- An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
- Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
- This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction
