Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Manager of Content Development and Field Training will oversee the design, development, and implementation of training programs aligned with Yoshinoya's vision, mission, and values. This role involves collaborating with various partners to identify training needs for Field Leaders, Restaurant Team Members, and RSC training and development. The responsibilities include managing operational field training programs, providing training leadership, and contributing to Yoshinoya's strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Bring to The Table:

Content Development:
Design, develop, and manage comprehensive training content, programs and tools for the operations and RSC team.
  • Create engaging learning solutions, including instructor-led training, eLearning, training guides, job aids, and other relevant training materials, using various programs.

Supports the development of eLearning scripts, video shoots, pamphlets, knowledge assessments, and program execution follow-up.
Provide leadership training for all levels within the company, DOs, DMs, GMs, and SMs.
Collaborates on updates to all training materials.
Identifies gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety for team members.

Field Training:
Manage and support operational field training to improve Fast, Friendly, Accuracy, and Food Quality.
Trains and coaches Training Managers on the proper execution of in-restaurant training.
Facilitate training workshops for field leaders.
Manage the development of our MITs and newly promoted GMs to utilize company standards to achieve operational excellence.
Facilitates transition meetings with MITs, the Training Managers, and perspective District Managers at the conclusion of the training process.
Performs restaurant certifications and partners with DOs and DMs to identify qualified training locations.
Supports company rollout of new programs
Stays current on all Yoshinoya America operating, training procedures, and programs.
Contributes to Yoshinoya's overall strategic initiatives and growth.
Supports training for new and existing franchise operators.
Meets regularly with the Director of Learning and Development for performance conversations and to stay informed on new projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Content Creator works in an office environment, and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties, except for travel to the restaurants when needed. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. The Supply Chain Specialist may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.

When visiting Restaurants, the employee will be exposed to distracting noises and sound levels from cooktops, hot temperatures from fryers and grills, sharp utensils and equipment, wet flooring, and cold temperatures when dealing with walk in coolers/freezer. Restaurant kitchens are often small spaces, they may work near others, while maintaining social distancing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While at the Support Center, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 40 pounds.

When visiting Restaurants , Content Creator could be required to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time, along with frequent bending, kneeling, lifting (handling food, trays, cups, lids, straws, cleaning supplies, and handling waste), carrying (generally under 10 lbs.), balancing, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, reaching, crawling, twisting, eye hand and foot coordination, neck flexion, and neck twisting.

TRAVEL: 50%; reimbursement for mileage driven for business purposes is based on the amount set by the IRS.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma is required.
BA/BS in Business Administration is preferred.
A minimum of two years of Project Management, Operations or Training experience is required.

License/Certifications:
A ServSafe license is required
