We are looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager to help lead the growth of Lucid's Salesforce environment. You will be responsible for the leading a large team of SFDC Admins, developers and 3rd party resources to help build elegant solutions in our Salesforce instance. You will join the Retail and Commerce Systems IT team and collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance and Data Engineering leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the system.
Being one of the core members of our team, you will pioneer our systems strategy and draw on your experience to create a vision for designing and optimizing our Salesforce environment for rapid growth.
The ideal candidate has a background in sales, marketing, CPQ and customer service systems, has proven success in building and delivering various capabilities in Salesforce and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.
You Will:
The Salesforce Engineering Manager will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, from project/feature backlog prioritization, requirement engineering, and development oversight through testing, release and support for products serving our institutional end users. Acting as a liaison between business and technology, creative problem solving, impeccable communication and attention to detail are key skills expected in this role. This individual will also be responsible for point and click administration and configuration of key systems.

You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related technical field is required or Master's degree is required.
- Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of Salesforce.com solutions spanning Sales, Marketing, Services and Customer support is preferred in Manufacturing domain.
- 12+ years of experience as a salesforce leader with techno-functional hands-on experience and management of salesforce admins & developers and 3rd party resources.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience building/implementing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Extensive experience in Technical ownership of projects and managing 25+ team members
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce Pages, Visualforce Components & Controllers.
- Prior experience leading teams in an agile environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills with excellent collaborations skills.
- Must be able to work on-site at least 3 days a week and work flexible hours to collaborate with Global IT and business team members.
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce.com and external integrations using Workato or other middleware technologies.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Technical Expertise
- Good knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Trigger, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, CSS, SOQL/SOSL, API, Force.com.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community, as the Force.com
- Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in Salesforce configuration, including flows, validation rules, and security controls.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
- Experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations.
- Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies Manufacturing company experience
- Domestic and international implementation experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Manufacturing company experience is plus.
- Salesforce Service Cloud Certified
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Certified
- Excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
