BAE Systems Intelligence division is searching for an Apex Developer to join us supporting the FBI Office of General Counsel (OGC), and Litigation Branch (LITB) in Washington, DC.
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Litigation Branch (LITB), coordinates civil litigation, discovery, and document processing and production whereby information and records are processed and shared pursuant to litigation, document requests, and for other purposes. OGC provides comprehensive legal advice and essential services to the FBI director, FBI officials and personnel, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and international, federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement and government partners on a wide array of investigative,
operational, and administrative topics.
The Legal Analysis Workflow System (LAWS) is an Oracle Application Express (APEX) database with features that can be used to track OGC cases and projects. LITB uses Oracle APEX, as its application development tool. Personnel assigned to this task must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
The expectation of the contractor will be to participate in teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate, and support program objectives.

- Design, debug, code, and maintain Oracle APEX applications and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HyperText Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) code.
- Develop, design, and incorporate new capabilities into the LAWS application based on OGC requirements.
- Liaise with other divisions for coordination and complex problem resolution.
- Perform Operation and Maintenance (O&M) standard operating procedures of LAWS application and other APEX applications as needed.
- Provide direct end-user support for LAWS.
- Develop supporting documentation, training materials and provide end-user training support and assist with ensuring requirements are documented and met
Required Skills and Education
In order to be successful in this position, must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the following:
- Oracle 11G or newer
- Hands-on experience in development using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Oracle Procedural Language (PL)/Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Data definition language (DDL) for Oracle 11G database and Oracle APEX application.
- PL/SQL procedures and functions.
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) code.
- Reports using BI Publisher.
- Must have the ability to collect and document requirements using SharePoint or any Microsoft Office 365 application.
- Strong communication skills
- Work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Have an active Top Secret with SSBI and ability to obtain SCI clearance.
