Summary of Role:

We are looking for a Parts Distribution Manager to lead all facets of warehouse operations, driving efficiency and productivity while fostering a safe and dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, maintain, and administer systems and procedures to establish effective PDC operations and to expedite stock keeping and dealer order processing.
  • Determine optimum outbound transportation routes and select appropriate carriers.
  • Develop warehouse operation and transportation policies and procedures.
  • Provide input in establishing annual operating budget and capital expenditures.
  • Establish and monitor productivity standards and goals, housekeeping, and safety programs to ensure the safety of all employees and MMNA assets.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and other programs.
  • Monitor and prioritize all receipts, backorders, and referrals.
  • Prepare specifications and bid packages to procure all PDC assets and services.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the PDC administrative and warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain open communication with all US locations including headquarters and regional offices and dealer personnel.
  • Manage the activities of work group members by providing opportunities for growth and development, by fostering an environment of open, honest communications, teamwork, creativity, and high involvement, productivity/efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years professional level warehousing experience in positions such as Transportation Specialist/Administrator, PDC Supervisor, or PDC Office Manager with at least two years management/supervisory background.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical understanding of automobiles.
  • Knowledge of distribution operation performance measurement tools.
