Position: Client Services Manager, Public Sector
Location: Hybrid

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Client Services Manager to lead our National Account Managers and Junior Account Managers with a specific focus on public sector accounts. In this pivotal role, you will manage a portfolio of key public sector clients, driving contract uptake and fostering long-term relationships. As a leader within our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), you'll mentor and develop your team, ensuring they meet performance goals and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop National Account Managers and Junior Account Managers, ensuring they meet performance metrics and revenue goals.
  • Account Management: Manage a book of business with larger key public sector accounts, providing exceptional service tailored to their needs.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with public sector members on procurement activities, implementing GPO contracts that benefit both the member and CHAMPS Group Purchasing.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the Vice President of GPO to execute strategic initiatives that drive client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on public sector market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in account management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, focusing on public sector accounts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to grow and maintain client relationships.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and group purchasing organizations is a plus.
