A dedicated expert who is responsible for safety, functionality and maintenance of all facilities. Maintains high standards of cleanliness, appearance and operational capacity. Performs routine maintenance on facilities, engaging with and managing vendors as appropriate. You will support site expansions and respond timely to service requests and proactively address facility needs as well.

Job Summary

Performs routine maintenance on facilities, engaging with and managing vendors as appropriate. You will support site expansions and respond timely to service requests and proactively address facility needs as well.
The role of a Facilities Manager can provide you with the skills and experience of:
- Working with vendors and influencing timely completion of their work
- Plan and coordinate all installations (IT, supplies, utilities, communications, etc.)
- Work with CHRO to ensure facilities are included in corporate liability coverage
- Plans, schedules, and completes all repair projects
- Manages service ticket queue while prioritizing requests
- Maintains project documentation such as notes, contracts, quotes, invoicing, and reports
- Sets repair and maintenance schedules for sites and HQ
- Identifying and executing preventative and corrective maintenance on all building assets and equipment
- Working with Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical equipment
- Understanding repair versus replace and managing cost
- Use technology to prioritize daily work orders for multiple sites
- Maintain and repair assets
- Allocate office space according to needs
- Perform space and facilities forecasting
- Work closely with management on lease management tracking
- Perform proactive asset up-keep as assigned
- Keep detailed records of space planning, logistics, and budgets
- Perform reactive repairs requested by sites
- Ensure internal and external work orders are completed and vendors are accountable to asset repairs
- Ensure learning objectives are met and behaviors are consistently demonstrated
- Share solutions that drive vendor cost down
- Assist in managing some emergency situations as needed in partnership with site leaders
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.), and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- 5 - 7 years experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent
- 5 - 7 years experience managing maintenance for multi-site organizations
- 5-10 years experience in space planning preferred
- Proven leadership abilities
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities best practices
- Knowledge of basic finance/budget principals
- Excellent analytic thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PDF
- Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Wrike
- A proven ability to constantly prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
- Must be comfortable in a rapid-growth environment
- Basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets required
- 1-2 years of technical education preferred in some of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing and/or experience working in any of the following areas: basic door repair, HVAC filter changing, carpentry, power equipment/mechanical repair and basic equipment trouble-shooting
