Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities in the mining, rail transportation, and tunnel sectors.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential clients and projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for steel buried structures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals set by the organization.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Engage with industry associations, attend conferences, and participate in trade shows to enhance the company's visibility and network.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and project progress.
- Prepare regular reports on business development performance and present to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the steel industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale projects in the mining, rail transportation, or tunnel sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of steel structures and their applications in buried environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
