Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research, prepare for, and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior attorneys.
- Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
- Communicate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
- Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is readily available for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- This position includes expected billable hours of 1980 per year.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation.
- Consumer credit litigation (Fair Credit Reporting Act) experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Candidates should be licensed in Texas and/or California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, or Nevada.

- Experience analyzing, reviewing, editing, and drafting litigation documents, as well as superior analytical skills.
