The Project Manager provides essential leadership and oversight in the planning, execution, and completion of one of TWU's key initiatives, the development of a Strategic Enrolment Plan (SEP). This role involves managing internal and external project resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring the project's objectives are met in alignment with Trinity Western University's strategic goals. The Project Manager will work closely with all stakeholders to foster collaboration, prepare deliverables, and ensure the success of the project. This role will be split between managing the SEP project and supporting other key projects as required.

The Project Manager will work closely with all stakeholders to foster collaboration, prepare deliverables, and ensure the success of the project. This role will be split between managing the SEP project and supporting other key projects as required.
Key Areas of Accountability
Project Leadership:
- Lead the SEP project from initiation to completion, ensuring all milestones and objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including the TWU Executive Leadership Team (ELT), working groups comprised of faculty and staff, and external consultants.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Plan and facilitate regular project meetings, including internal stakeholder kick-offs, working group sessions, and consultant site visits.
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders to establish a shared understanding and commitment to the Strategic Enrolment Plan as it emerges.
Project Planning and Implementation:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project.
- Develop and maintain a risk management plan to address potential project challenges and ensure successful delivery.
Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related communications.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Executive Sponsor and other leaders.
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project plans.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor resource allocation and project expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project activities comply with university policies and quality standards.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating project events.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to present to and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization including executive leaders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Standards & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in higher education or a related sector.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
