JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The Originating Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing a team of mortgage professionals. This role involves driving sales, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and building strong relationships with business partners and referral networks. Additionally, the Production Manager will lead and build out the QHomeLoans brand across the Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Post Falls, and Coeur d'Alene real estate markets. The Originating Branch Manager is also tasked with achieving sales goals, enhancing market share, and maintaining the quality of loan origination.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, Hire, and Train Branch Personnel:
    Build a well-rounded team by recruiting, hiring, and training mortgage loan officers (MLOs), compliance personnel, operations staff, underwriters, processing teams, and other mortgage professionals.
  • Lead, Train, and Motivate Employees:
    Provide leadership and training to employees to achieve sales goals, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Market and Promote the Company:
    Market and promote the company with business partners and referral networks, such as realtors, with a strong focus on reputation management.
  • Monitor Loan Quality:
    Ensure that loan quality aligns with company policies and procedures and complies with state, regional, and federal guidelines.
  • Enforce Branch Procedures, Policies, and Protocols:
    Ensure all staff members adhere to established procedures, policies, and protocols.
  • Achieve Sales and Pipeline Goals:
    Meet and exceed sales management goals, pipeline goals, and new business generation goals to increase market share.

Education & Experience:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in the mortgage business with a proven track record of funded loans.
  • Skills: Integrity, exceptional customer service, effective communication, and proven processes for success in the mortgage business.

Compensation:
  • Salary: $67,000 per year
  • Commission: $2,500 per month recoverable against commissions
