Data Analyst (TS Clearance)

Overview

Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to join our National Capital Programs Group. The is full-time onsite position at Naval Air Station Patuxent River and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility. The expected salary range is $70,000 - $130,000 and is dependent a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• As a Program Analyst, you will be supporting the U.S Navy to improve their data collection processes.
• Day-to-day tasks to include working with multiple organizations to understand their data formats and collection processes, cleaning and normalizing data, and developing process improvements so it can be correctly ingested into the relevant databases.
• The support you provide will increase organizational efficiency and enable the full utilization of the data to support strategic decision making.

Skills Required

Must Have:

• Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Experience working with large Excel files and Access databases
• B.S in Economics, Business, Program Management or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field
• Willingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a classified environment
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR
• Project Management Professional (PMP)/Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification
• International Cost Estimating and Analysis (ICEAA) Certification
• Advanced Degree (MBA, etc..)

Education

Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
