Budget Analyst TS/SCI Required

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to maximize program execution and present reporting of budget results to senior leadership, advise senior leadership of budget propriety, start new implications and compliance, and strategize with senior leadership to avoid budget cuts.

Responsibilities

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a candidate that will:

• Maximize program execution and present reporting of budget results to senior leadership
• Advise senior leadership of budget propriety, new start implications and compliance with other legal and DoD regulatory guidance
• Prepare response strategies to avoid potential budget cuts; may require revisions to budget allocations and reprogramming actions
• Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00/Year DOE

Skills Required

• 5-10 years of experience - DoD Acquisitions Financial Management and or Budget Analysis including Civil Service, Commercial Contractor or FFRDC/SETA
• DoD Special Access Programs Accounting is a plus
• Experience with the following applications: FM Suite (5 years), CCaR (10 years), and Excel (10 years)
• Familiarity with DTM 09-025 Space Systems Acquisition Policy (SSAP), DoD Instruction 5000.02, the DoD FMR and applicable Air Force Instructions
• Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, budget planning, formulation, programming, justification documentation/reporting, program documentation development (Program Management Directive, Program
• Management Plan, acquisition plans, and requests for proposals) and program reporting (Monthly Acquisition Report, Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary)
• Familiarity with the National Intelligence Community budget cycle is a plus
• Bachelors degree required in math, Business/Economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or the sciences
• TS/SCI security clearance with DCID 6/4 Eligibility is required
• US citizenship is required
