The Maryland Food Bank (MFB) is a nonprofit hunger-relief organization dedicated to feeding people, strengthening communities, and ending hunger for more Marylanders by partnering with local organizations from the western mountains to the Eastern Shore. The food bank's statewide network of food assistance brings enough resources together to provide nearly 114,000 meals every day (more than 41 million meals annually) to hungry children, seniors, veterans, and hard-working families, meeting the immediate needs of hungry Marylanders while simultaneously working to create pathways out of hunger.

The Programs Data & Technology Manager is responsible for the assessment, management, integration, and improvement of all Programs-specific technology platforms and processes. This role will support Programs staff in day-to-day operations and provide reliable data and analytics to support MFB's strategic direction.
MFB's Programs team is responsible for designing and managing programs to distribute nutritious food safely and equitably, supporting a statewide network of partners, and providing services and solutions that address the root causes of food insecurity.
Our Programs department is at a pivotal point in its technology journey. In addition to technical expertise, successful candidates will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for leading technology-related training and development. The Programs Data & Technology Manager will be responsible for managing a wide range of projects at different states of maturity.
Initial responsibilities will include implementing a new CRM and assessing the current state of data and systems within MFB's Programs department.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Programs team has the systems, processes, and workflows to effectively support current state operations and future state strategic direction
- Assess, integrate, maintain, and sunset existing technology systems; Onboard new technology systems as needed
- Create and implement standards for alignment of Programs data in collection, use, and definition, including data structure and cleanup
- Support consistency of processes through internal training and SOP development
- Oversee day-to-day database operations; Provide reliable data and analytics
- Maintain data hygiene, provide files and lists as required, support teams in pulling and segmenting lists for events and communications
- Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators across the Programs department
Basic Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in:
- Managing databases
- Managing technology platform integrations
- Developing data standards and managing data hygiene projects
- Business analysis, creating documentation, and system implementation
- Managing timelines, schedules, stakeholders and risks
- Ability to perform multiple duties with minimal supervision; successful candidate will be strongly self-motivated.
- Ability to lead others and experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with experience in translating technical information to non-technical language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mission-focused work
- Experience in Salesforce preferred

Salary range:
- $80,000 - $85,000
Work environment:
- This role will work on a hybrid schedule, with on-site or field-work required at least 3 days per week. The employee may be required to occasionally travel to our Western or Eastern branches.
