Memory Support Director - RN/LPN

We are looking for an RN (preferred) or an LPN/LVN to lead our Memory Support Neighborhood. If you have experience working with Seniors with memory impairment, dementia or Alzheimer's - this is a great opportunity for you! Memory Support Director / Memory Care Director / Director of Nursing
As our Memory Support Director / Memory Care Director, you will coordinate all clinical and programming aspects of the Memory Support Program. You'll work in conjunction with our Team Operations Director to support the care team members within Memory Support. Your primary responsibilities will include resident assessments, resident care plans and coordination with physicians. We also look to our Memory Support Director to ensure that our residents have active and appropriate programming while receiving top quality care and service.

Memory Support Director / Memory Care / Director of Nursing Responsibilities -

• On-site coordination of all clinical, programming and staffing aspects of the Memory Support Program.
• You'll oversee the Med Techs that work in Memory Support, while our Team Operations Director will oversee the care partners/care givers.
• Responsible for resident programming for our Memory Support residents.
• Assist the residents and their families in maintaining the physical and emotional health of our residents.
• Liaison with physicians, pharmacies, families and health-related agencies for Memory Support residents.

Memory Support Director / Memory Care Director / Director of Nursing Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Utah
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors and team members with excellent customer service skills, a high level of energy and compassion.
• Prefer bachelor's degree in gerontology, nursing, social work or related health or human service field or a licensed nurse.
• Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse experience is helpful, and you'll love the change to Memory Support.
• Prefer two years' experience in senior living, long-term care or healthcare field.
• Strong time management skills and customer service skills
• Be proficient in the use of a computer.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written in dealing with team members, residents, family members, co-workers and vendors.
• Good listening and skills.
• To reduce risk to our residents and team members, we require all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and any required boosters.
