PROFILE: The Workforce Planning team, within our Human Resources department, is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Partner to lead and collaborate with systems leaders to curate a workforce design to deliver on Our Promise. With the ability to work across teams and audiences, the HR Partner is a key support for school and system leaders in advancing strategic staffing practices to capitalize on staffing as a main lever of school improvement. The ideal candidate has an intimate understanding of k-12 systems and is able to bring wild ideas to maximize the assets within our teams and community, while mitigating immovable challenges. They collect, access, interpret and share transformative data to drive change in leadership and system praxis. They work in service of our district commitment to becoming an anti-racist organization by interrogating their personal practice and elevating disaggregated data measures. Taking a learning and coaching stance, they work alongside leaders and navigate internal teams to collaborate or refer, ensuring leaders are able to maintain human capital best practices in service of students and staff. The ideal HR Partner has both the technical and adaptive skills to nurture change, centering students as we build educator teams.
Note on hiring timeline: Priority screening will occur Monday, September 9th; if a sufficient number of competitive candidates are identified, interviews will be held Friday, September 13th.
POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Partner will help develop the District's capacity to ensure curated teams support every learning environment across the district, by actualizing staffing as a main lever for school improvement. The HR Partner supports the creation and implementation of strategic staffing models and resource alignment for staff recruitment, selection, evaluation, teaming, development and retention practices. The HR Partner utilizes key transformative data practices to drive a dignity-centered approach to ensuring culturally affirming learning environments for all. As a critical bridge for student-defined success, leaders, district actors and departmental collaboration, the HR Partner works with system leaders across the organization. As a member of the Workforce Planning team, the HR Partner's role is critical in supporting workforce strategies that deliver on Our Promise through a culture of belonging, and staffing practices that drive student achievement for all learners.
