We are currently seeking a full-time Executive Director to oversee all aspects of operations, guiding the company towards its goals and ensuring continued growth and success.

This position leads and shapes the leadership team in order to realize the mission, vision and strategy of the business

In conjunction with the Board of Directors, the duties and responsibilities of the Executive Director include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the company's objectives, mission and vision;
Provides visionary leadership to inspire staff and stakeholders to work collectively to realizing the common goals;
Oversees the day-to-day operations, including financial management, human resources and administration;
Manages the company's budget and financial planning, ensures fiscal responsibility;
Collaborates with the Board of Directors, facilitates board meetings, provides regular updates on performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives;
Builds and maintains relationships with community partners, and stakeholders;
Represents the brand at events, conferences and meetings to enhance visibility and reputation;
Leads, mentors and empowers a diverse team, prioritizes fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, creativity and professional growth;
Meets with all Area Supervisors and Directors on a regular basis, to hold staff accountable for quality and operational standards, ensuring customer experience and profitability goals are met;
Ensures all leadership tiers hold weekly meetings with tangible, personal, and business-related results;
Provides daily insights to the Owner/Operator on leadership team trends, including strengths and growth opportunities;
Oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and initiatives that align with the company's mission;
Ensures the continuity of systems such as cleaning, waste tracking and operational procedures;
Conducts spot checks on performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis;
Ensures programs meet the needs of the community, with ways to measure impact.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Master's degree preferred;
Proven executive leadership experience ideally in a similar role or industry;
A visionary leader with the passion to inspire and motivate diverse teams to achieve the company's business objectives and mission;
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management;
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and best practices related to the service/restaurant/hospitality industry;
Exceptional strategic planning and organizational development skills;
Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; and
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma and equivalent
  • Food Handler Certifcation

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, with the ability to manage repetitive motions and actions throughout shifts such as bending, lifting items, walking

Company Information
Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S. Truett Cathy started the business in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House). Through the years, that restaurant prospered and led Cathy to further the success of his business. In 1967, Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center. Today, Chick-fil-A has the highest same-store sales and is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States based on annual system-wide sales.
