General Job Description

The Manager of IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the IT systems and services that support the operations and goals of Members Choice Credit Union. The Manager of IT Infrastructure manages a team of IT professionals who provide support for on premises servers, network, Data Center, Ring Central telephony system, servers in Microsoft Azure, helpdesk and desktop support. The Manager of IT Infrastructure also ensures that the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant with industry standards and regulations. The Manager of IT Infrastructure collaborates with other managers and stakeholders to align the IT infrastructure with the strategic vision and mission of Members Choice Credit Union, and to deliver a high-quality member experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plans, designs, implements, and monitors the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, cloud, and security systems.
  • Manages and supervises the IT staff, including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and delegating tasks.
  • Establishes and enforces IT Security requirements, IT policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Manages IT projects, budgets, contracts, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensures the availability, performance, and integrity of the IT systems and services.
  • Identifies and resolves IT issues, problems, and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implements and maintains backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Stays updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and innovations.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to other departments and members as needed.
  • Reports on the status, performance, and metrics of the IT infrastructure.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with both co-workers and members by actively embracing and demonstrating MCCU's culture, known as IMPACT.


Essential Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a credit union or financial services environment.
  • Proven knowledge and skills in on premises servers, networking, Data Center management, Ring Central telephony system, servers in Microsoft Azure, helpdesk, and desktop support.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Fortinet, or other relevant technologies are preferred.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations, products, services, and regulations is a plus.
