AMECO is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Generalist with at least 7 years of diverse experience in human resources, with a strong focus on employee benefits, wellness programs, and company policies. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our employees receive top-notch benefits support and wellness resources while maintaining and enhancing our company policies. The Senior HR Generalist will collaborate closely with the AMECO HR team members and benefits partners while providing essential support to employees and fostering a healthy and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Benefits Administration:
- Responsible for the administration of all benefit programs.
- Collaborate with benefits vendors to administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Facilitate new hire orientations with a focus on educating employees about available benefits and resources.
- Assist departing employees with COBRA-related questions and ensure smooth transitions.
- Track health insurance claims, premiums, limits, and various benefits-related costs and expenses on a monthly level.
- Identify and resolve administrative problems related to certain benefits packages.
- Maintain accurate employee benefits records, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Employee Wellness Programs:
- Develop, implement, and maintain employee wellness initiatives focusing on physical, mental, and financial well-being.
- Encourage employee participation in wellness programs through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Company Policies:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of company policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on company policies, ensuring they are understood and adhered to.
- Regularly review and update policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
- General HR Support:
- Support the HR team with various functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and training as needed.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration, wellness programs, and policy development.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and other benefits-related legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
