Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Outreach
- Identify potential customer prospects & key contact stakeholders
- Cold outreach, including LinkedIn, email & phone
- Schedule introductory/qualification meetings
- Invite/encourage trade show attendance to customers
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Qualification & Discovery
- Conduct qualification meetings to determine cultural & financial alignment
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality & campaign effectiveness (including success stories)
- Schedule discovery meetings with "sales qualified leads."
- Lead a thoughtful and engaging discovery meeting
- Proposals/Quoting & Closing
- Help build custom proposals/quotes
- Present custom proposals/quotes (live)
- Negotiate and secure final commitment
- Nurture relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction
- Account Management & Partnership Reviews
- Ensure the needs, concerns, and requests of clients promptly & effectively
- Support Partnership Reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction & gather feedback
- Identify opportunities to upsell & cross-sell additional products/services to existing clients

Required Experience:
- Sales Success: achieving sales targets, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals.
- Selling to the C-suite: successfully engaging with senior executives while taking & maintaining control of the sales process
- Selling complex services: understanding their business challenges and delivering value-added solutions
- CRM experience: experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
Desired Experience:
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry (3-5 years), including market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.

- Travel Expectations- 50% traveling & 50% office
- Balancing focus on new business and account management

Compensation:

Job Type:
- West Coast territory includes customers in: California, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and the Vancouver/British Columbia area.
- If located in West Coast- Fully Remote w/quarterly travel onsite to Sheldon, IA for sales meetings
- If located local to Sheldon, IA- On Site with potential for hybrid position after one year of employment depending on performance
- Monday thru Friday: 7:30AM-4:30PM
