Our North American Financial Institutions distribution team is looking for a senior National Accounts professional to join our team in New York. You will help drive sales and enhance client relationships at top tier financial institutions with a growth-oriented mindset.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand and manage relationships with key national accounts, including broker-dealers, wirehouses, and independent financial advisors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and portfolio management, to deliver tailored investment solutions that meet the needs of national account partners.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and training sessions with national account partners to enhance product knowledge and strengthen partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure Lazard Asset Management remains competitive and compliant.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Expand our presence at industry conferences, events, and client meetings.
  • Be curious, inspire, develop and coach our valued team members.
  • Use data to inform strategy and encourage use of technology to automate processes that free up our people to spend more time with clients.
  • Lead by example; Demonstrate expert understanding of investment products and vehicles, and a consultative approach to selling and relationship management.


Successful candidates will have:

  • 15 or more years of experience building and maintaining relationships at top-tier Financial Institutions
  • Exceptional prospecting, consultative selling, and closing skills
  • Ability to seamlessly collaborate with wholesaling team, key accounts, and broader distribution to optimize results for our clients
  • An outstanding external network of relationships with advisors, investors, and top tier financial institutions
  • Impeccable investment acumen and experience selling a variety of investment products/strategies across asset classes
  • A growth-mindset and ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to derive insights from large data sets to inform strategy
  • Experience with Mutual Funds, SMAs, CITs, and ETFs
  • Series 7 and 65 licenses, CIMA/CFA preferred

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $150,000-250,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
